Tinker Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tinker SEO Plugin and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of the Service

Tinker is an SEO optimization tool designed to help website owners analyze and improve search performance.

The Service may provide:

  • Search performance analysis
  • SEO recommendations
  • Keyword and page optimization insights
  • Synchronization of search performance data from Google Search Console
  • The Service may evolve over time, and features may be added, modified, or removed.

2. Google Account Connection

Some features of the Service require connecting a Google account.

If you choose to connect your Google account, the Service may access data through the Google APIs associated with Google Search Console.

Access to Google data occurs only after explicit authorization from the user via Google's OAuth authorization process.

Users may revoke access at any time through their Google account permissions.

3. Use of Google API Data

The Service’s use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • Google user data will only be used to provide user-facing features of the Service.
  • Google user data will not be sold or transferred to third parties.
  • Google user data will not be used for advertising purposes.

Google user data will not be used to build independent user profiles unrelated to the Service.

Data accessed from Google APIs is used solely to analyze search performance and provide SEO insights for the connected website.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

ensuring you have the right to connect and analyze the websites linked to your Google Search Console account

maintaining the security of your accounts and integrations

complying with all applicable laws and regulations

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful activities or to access data without authorization.

5. Paid Features

Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription.

If you subscribe to a paid plan:

  • pricing will be clearly communicated before purchase
  • subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled
  • access to premium features may be suspended if payment is not received
  • The Service provider may modify pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The software, algorithms, design, and documentation related to the Service are the intellectual property of the Service provider.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Users may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit the software beyond its intended use.

7. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

The provider does not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted service
  • error-free operation
  • specific search engine ranking outcomes

Search engine performance depends on external factors beyond the control of the Service provider.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service provider shall not be liable for:

  • loss of profits or revenue
  • loss of data
  • indirect or consequential damages
  • The Service is intended as an analytical and decision-support tool only.

9. Termination

Access to the Service may be suspended or terminated if:

  • these Terms are violated
  • required subscription payments are not made
  • use of the Service creates legal or security risks
  • Users may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Privacy

The processing of data, including Google API data, is described in the Privacy Policy available at:

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically.

The most current version will always be available at:

  • Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
